Catella Scribe is a cost effective transcription software that is built to receive dictated comments (voice files) and DICOM information sent from one or more Catella Diagnostic Workstations. Dictations are spooled and individually displayed for transcription purposes. If attached, a wav file will appear using an on screen slider control, which can be activated with the dual foot switch. Footswitch controls allow for the play back and rewind capabilities.
With Catella Scribe loaded on a standard personal computer, your clerical staff can quickly and easily convert your voice diagnosis to text. Since we collect the DICOM header files that include patient and study information, this information can be preloaded onto your report template. Your staff's productivity will be greatly increased and mistakes greatly reduced because this information need not to be re-entered by hand.
Catella Dictation files can be sent over the Internet, diagnoses can be delivered to your off-site transcriptionist location. Many institutions are now reclaiming valuable real state by relocating their transcriptionist services away from their medical offices, some times even in trancriptionist's homes.
When transcribing is completed, reports can be transferred back to the Catella Workstation for electronic verification by a radiologist.
Catella Scribe uses MS Word to help you create stationary templates. Your staff can then cost effectively produce a truly professional look in your reporting and communications.
By employing the power of MS Word macros, you can also establish standard reporting language while also dramatically reducing transcriptionist work loads.
Catella Scribe can be installed on a facility's existing computers (upon review by AMS technical staff). Catella Scribe is also a per seat basis and does not require an annual licensing fee.
