AMS “PACS-in-a-BOX” products are a combination of hardware and software. They are designed to handle the needs of physician offices, clinics and small imaging groups which have one to five imaging modalities (for example, x-ray and ultrasound).

Assuming that there will be limited IT expertise at these facility, AMS has simplified the installation, training and support processes. Installation and training can easily be accomplished in a single day and almost all on-going support is handled remotely via the Internet. “PACS-in-a-BOX” solutions can be interconnected to electronic medical records systems (“EMR”) and/or scheduling and billing systems.

PACS-1M, the Single Modality PACS

PACS-1M is a true single modality PACS and image display solution. PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) is the universal medical term for the digital imaging networks and equipment. It is based on DICOM, an international standard. If you select solutions that use this standard, you are not locked to one vendor's solution as your practice grows.

PACS-3M, for the Multi-Modality Practice

PACS-3M doubles the archive capacity of the “1M” model and takes input from up to three modalities. In addition, PACS-3M has a CD/DVD burner and labeler that adds an important professionalism to your communications. Finally, this package includes Three LAN licenses to provide “electronic viewboxes” in key areas of your clinic, such as patient exam rooms. Additional LAN licenses can be added.

PACS-5M, the PACS for the Busiest Clinic

Great software must be coupled with the proper hardware to solve your requirements. In PACS-5M we use a more advanced and faster processor to handle the significantly greater workload we would expect to find in the busiest physician offices and clinics. PCS-5M takes input from up to five modalities. PACS-5M also comes with an automated DVD/CD recorder and labeler to save valuable office time. Five WEB/LAN licenses to provide “electronic viewboxes” in key areas of your clinic, such as patient exam rooms, or outside via the internet are included. Additional LAN licenses can be added.
