CATELLA LAN-SCAN

Flexibility and productivity are the key word to describe the Catella Lan-Scan. This station features a Vidar medical grade scanner with automatic 25 sheet feed (accepts multiple sizes of film in random order), a CPU and flat screen LCD monitor. The user screen input allows for entry of specific patient information, which is merged with the digitized image according to the DICOM 3.0 standard. New Software includes both automatic send and manual image review mode. Multiple image films, such as CT and MRI films, can "cut" into stackable image sets for digital viewing.

A short term archive is included with the system. It is generally sized to hold scanned images for up to 30 days for small to mid-sized institutions.

Scanned images are transmitted to a DICOM receiver. A five user Catella WebVue license is included with the Lan-Scan package. In addition to viewing and manipulating images, these viewing stations can send images to a CD burner or image printer if they are available on your network.
