IMAGE GATEWAY
The Catella Image Gateway is the hub of your imaging network. It is responsible for receiving images from your modalities, immediately confirming receipt, and, if attached to a Catella Archive, backing up the image on you unique removable hard drive system. Once this disk is full, it can be removed and replaced with an empty hard drive. The removed (full) hard disk can be stored off-site to provide back up for an on-site archive.
Catella Image Gateway accepts images from your modalities and handles the routing within your organization. The
Image Gateway distributes images based on your priorities. Our Image Gateway also makes copies on a removable hard drive for back up purposes.
It may distribute images first to your workstation, then to your Archive, and finally to the removable backup media. Since the
Image Gateway is so critical to your system's entire performance, we even include a second system, just in case.
