Catella Synchronizes with specialty 3D viewing software. Once Images have been acquire from the modality and are displayed on the Catella Workstation, you can invoke 3D imaging directly from the floating menu.
3D software contains tools to quickly and skillfully generate 3D images from CT or MRI-based 2D image sets. Radiologist now have a convenient means for combining hundreds or even thousands of image slices into a cohesive image for manipulation and diagnosis. Advance tools facilitate surgical planning with user-friendly intelligent presets.
The beauty of the synchronization of 3D with Catella is that a radiologist can now combine 2D and 3D anatomic manipulation and diagnosis on the same machine, using the same keyboard and mouse. After reviewing the original images in the 2D mode, the radiologist can invoke a 3D study for those image sets requiring more advanced interpretation. This maximizes the value of the radiologist's efforts by allowing only selected image sets to be processed by 3D Localizer, 3D Rotating, MPR, Bone Segmentation, Multiple Object Definition, Virtual Colonoscopy and Virtual Endoscopy.
