Modality Worklist |
Handling the "gap" between an EMR or RIS system and an imaging modality is a function called "modality worklist" or MWL. The object is to take the exact patient information input at the front desk and place that information in the DICOM header so that patient records and patient images match. It also saves expensive clerical time. To fill this gap, AMD has developed solutions to fit two situations: 1) where the EMR or RIS cannot export patient demographic information AND 2) where there is no EMR or RIS but the facility wants to create a common, consistent patient demographic database from which all of their imaging modalities can pull information. · Overview - How to add patient information and studies. · Adding study lists, ID's and modalities. · Adding performing physicians, site locations and equipment lists. |
